NoiseShop – Saturday, October 13, 2012, 9am-noon, and 2pm-5pm

What : 

In collaboration with our friends at the Vancouver Hackspace, Vancouver New Music is celebrating the junction where DIY and noise meet! In preparation for this year’s New Music Festival Hacking Electronics noise as multiplicity, join us for NoiseShop at VHS – a hands on electronics workshop where attendees will build a unique electronic instrument that will hearken back to the days of glorious 8 bit sound! Attendance is limited to 15 people per session, and the cost is $20 per person to cover supplies. The sessions will take place on Saturday, October 13, with the first session from 9am to 12pm, and the second session will be from 2pm to 5pm. Absolutely no electronics experience necessary, but we ask that children be accompanied by an adult. For questions, please email tyson@newmusic.org .

  1. Hi there…just to confirm, is the date actually October 15th (the Saturday).

    Also, do we need to sign up in advance or just show up?
